Exhibition - Even My Mum Can Make A Book

Even my mum can make a book is a traveling archive of fanzines, artists’ books and independent publishings that was initiated in 2010 in Istanbul by Gamze Özer, Kristina Kramer and Timotheè Huguet. Since then the archive has been growing and now contains more than thousand publications from more than 320 participants from all around the world. Previously it has been shown in different locations in Turkey, Finland, and Germany.

Red Tulip Turkish Film Festival

For seven days the Red Tulip Film Festival will be the meeting point between the contemporary Turkish cinema and the city of culture Rotterdam. Their film commission selected some impressive Turkish films for you. As in the last year, the filmhouse Lantaren Venster in Rotterdam will host our Turkish film festival.

Bicycle Film Festival for the Second Time in Istanbul

The Bicycle Film Festival is a global movement that now for the second time settles in Istanbul. After a successful edition last year, this year a four-day festival with film, bicycle tours and parties will promote a healthy lifestyle. The Consulate General is the main sponsor of the event and will host movies in the Dutch Chapel, as well as the closing reception in the garden of the Consulate. Moreover, as part of the festival, a popular Dutch DJ will perform in the Küçükçiftcilik Park at September 14.

Dutch Artists at Istanbul Biennale

The 13th Istanbul Biennial exhibitions, titled “Mom, am I Barbarian?”, curated by Fulya Erdemci will take place at Antrepo 3, Galata Greek Primary School, ARTER, SALT Beyoğlu and 5533 between 14 September and 20 October 2013. It will be free of charge.

A number of Dutch artist will participated in the Istanbul Biennale.
