The Netherlands partner country Innovation week Turkey
The Netherlands will be the exclusive partner country to the Turkish Innovation Week 2015 (3-5 December in Istanbul) for the second year in a row. The Innovation Week is the most important event in the area of innovation in Turkey. A great number of Turkish universities, techno parks, knowledge institutions as well as knowledge intensive companies participate to present themselves and their R&D projects. The event consists of a conference and a fair where, as exclusive partner country, the Netherlands will have its own pavilion and will also deliver keynote speakers. Dutch Design at Istanbul Light festival

Dutch design studio VollaersZwart has created the 'Tunnel of Love', a metro tunnel transformed for Turkey's first Light Festival. The festival started on 13  November at Istanbul’s Zorlu Center and will continue through 29 November 2015. For more information click here.

 
Pink Amsterdam in Istanbul

Pink Istanbul | Art & Dance Events and Love Dance Point present PINK AMSTERDAM '15 in Istanbul. 

On 27 November, DJ's such as Ozromita and W&DY (StripeTwo), Miss Bunty and Alper Abakay wil make Istanbul dance during Pink Amsterdam. For tickets and more info click here.

 
Concert - Karsu Colors

Karsu Dönmez will be performing her new cd Colors in Istanbul and Ankara. Colors is Karsu's second studio album. Her previous album jazz is the main style, but Colors has more colour and a more poppy sound to it. The name refers to Karsu’s multicultural background and her mixture of different musical styles.

 
ROCKSTANBUL - Mabel Matiz

Paradiso, Pera & Ajda present: ROCKSTANBUL - Mabel Matiz - 25 December

Mabel Matiz is a Turkish pop musician and singer-songwriter who has released three studio albums to date. His musical career was launched over the internet, releasing his own songs via Myspace in 2008. Turkish music producer Engin Akıncı noticed his songs and offered him an album. One of his claims to fame is his contribution to the Aysel Gürel tribute album Aysel'in in June 2013, on which he performed a cover of "Sultan Süleyman". Dutch film at Festival on Wheels

The film "Big Ben: Ben Webster in Europe" (1966), by the Dutch filmmaker Johan van der Keuken, will be shown on 29 November in Ankara as part of the program Jazz Goes to the Movies of Festival on Wheels. The Festival on Wheels is an annual film festival, organised by the Ankara Cinema Association based in Ankara. Its mission is to present outstanding examples of cinema to film enthusiasts in different cities around Turkey and to introduce Turkish cinema to the rest of the world. Concert - Burhan Öçal & Trakya All Stars

Burhan Öçal & Trakya All Stars - 29 November

The world famous virtuoso percussionist Burhan Öçal will be performing together with other masterful musicians from Thrace, on 29 November in RASA muziek & dans in Utrecht. Following numerous concerts and world tours, the multi-instrumentalist and percussionist Burhan Öçal is now focusing on ‘the most personal project of his life. In Trakya All Stars, together with musicians from Thrace, he pays a musical tribute to his birthplace, Kırklareli. For more information click here.
